Openfiler is a free Open Source Network Attached Storage and Storage Area Network Solution. If you want to set up your own test ESX Server, but do not have the budget for the specific hardware required, you can use this product free, and create your own virtual iSCSI solution. Currently WMware ESX server can only be installed virtually in VMware Workstation 6. This is not recommended for production, but works well for testing purposes.
