What is Phishing? Here is a reminder, which I needed as well.

Phishing is when a fraudster sends you an email or link, claiming to be from a legitimate company. They’ll often send you to a fake website they’ve created, and trick you into entering your password and personal information. You’re then an easy target for account theft.

I logged into myspace and saw I had sent bulletins, or someone else did advertising other sites. I originally noticed this from another contact of mine, and now I see others as well sending out simular bulletins. It’s the biggest network sight on the net, it was bound to happen.

If it happens to you, change your password, that should take care of it, and dont’ click any strange links from your contacts. No matter how bad you want to see the “hottest girls ever.” lol

There are so many other programs trying to compete with iTunes. I must admit, I use it religiously and it would be hard to switch, but if something comes along that works with my ipod, does not control my music the way iTunes does, and offers it free? How can that not be something to consider?

I don’t understand how they can offer the music for free, how do the artist make the money, are advertisers enough?

Palm Treo 700wx for Sprint – PDA Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

I must admit, I miss my Treo 700w for many reasons. Most of which involve the differences between a full version Windows Mobile phone, and a Windows Mobile Smart phone, currently my Motorola Q. I was use to all of those functions, and have found ways to adapt without them, but the new 700wx looks like very appealing.

I do not miss the lock ups, the calls not coming or going through, the programs staying open, the not being able to install programs or my phone would crash, I do not miss any of those things, but it appears that they have fixed it for Sprint. Why is Verizon still carrying the same piece of crap 700w then?

If apple would create a blogging software besides the groups, something that you could incorporate onto your own domain, I would use it in a second. Something that you could use a bookmark, or many other features that make it so simple to blog, not having to go into iweb, or sign into a group to post. I have heard they may incorportate this into iweb, I am hopeful that they will incorporate this into a lot more. I am trying to follow this closely, I still have hope.

There are a lot of tools out there for obtaining computer information, but this one I really like. You can run the vbs script and it prints out a nice and easy to read format of all of your computer information. This is really a great time saver in trouble shooting PC’s. It will tell you network status, hard drive information and status, what kind of PC it is, what service pack is installed, all in one easy to read format. I tried it and it showed me some partitions that I actually forgot about on my main pc? This is a keeper for my USB keychain, for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about this phone. I love mine. After having this phone, I could never go back to the football of a Piece of crap I carried before (Tree 700w). I have had only minor issues with this phone, nothing at all major. The camera drives me nuts, because in snapping my nails hit the side arrows which tells the camera to do something else, even if I didn’t have nails, the buttons are a bit small, but otherwise, keeps track of everything, and works great.

Really good account of what is going on today at the WWDC. The comparisons between the MAC and VISTA are right on I think, I noticed a lot of this before. I had not seen the new IE 7 or whatever they are calling it this week, but the simularities are hard to ignore. All I can say is, yeah for Mac…I still thought we where going to see the new ipod? Day isn’t over yet…maybe?
